Our Story

Kip exists to provide factual insight to the wellbeing and health of the animal to enable powerful decision making – Knowledge is Power (KIP).

We created Kip because current animal health software is often siloed with little or no sharing capabilities of key health information between professionals and owners, meaning the health of the animal can be compromised.

We are passionate about creating easy-to-use integrated software that brings animal owners, practitioners and data together for transparency and excellence in animal health, globally.

Kip has set new industry standards through its software which captures factual health data over time directly from the source. It provides a holistic view of the true condition of the animal that you can trust throughout its life. Not only does Kip help people store and find the information they want, it also provides practitioners with an outstanding back-end system to help manage their business.

Kip was created by Bronny while working in the equine nutrition industry. Bronny was astounded at the number of people who meant well but were not using facts to make informed decisions for their horses’ health. She noticed most people would be easily influenced by marketing, friends and hearsay. After witnessing questionable health outcomes for horses, Bronny quickly realised there was a crying gap in the market that needed to be filled – the need for a health record-keeping tool that captures data over time, so both professionals and owners needing to treat an animal can make the best possible decision.

Bronny believes by having a shared care record to collaborate on (which is unable to be manipulated) it will help protect professionals against legal action arising and also make sure their recommendations are not being ignored, ultimately creating better transparency of animal welfare.

Kip is now helping owners and practitioners to get a more holistic and transparent view of animal care around the world.
